It's Friday and we have a new episode and a new President? What in the hell happened America? I guess begin to answer that question by listening to today's episode. The boys get back into the swing of things and talk about love and politics, and music of course. What comes next guys? We don't have all the answers, but it begins with positivity always. Now without further ado - let's talk about some gosh darn music! HIT IT!
Seriously, 70 episode's? Who let us do this for this long. Either way, enjoy this one as a very sleepy Matt and serious Ian discuss what is arguably the best Copeland album, and a fan-favorite between the gang. Eat, Sleep, Repeat. This album is dark, lovely, haunting, yet beautiful, and will leave you speechless. Oh and its also 10 years old. Sit back and relax as the boys take you through this incredible moment in time, and then go listen to it yourself! We hope you love it as much as we do, and be sure to check out Copeland on the Then and Now Tour! We guarantee it will be worth your time. HIT IT!
Matt's back! Wow, what a month! Check in on what the boys have been up to, listen to Matt talk way too much, and enjoy the hilarity that ensues when the gang talks about the new albums to check out this week. Thanks Auntie for the shipowners, we hardly knew ya! Hit it!
In this episode Ian goes solo one last time to give his opinions on the latest new tunes and the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees. We hope you enjoy this one gang! This episode is brought to you by Aunt Donna's Artisan Hand Rolled Cigarettes, "Dont waste your money come see your Auntie Donna honey". Just call and say Matt sent you, number found in the yellow pages... hit it.
Well gang another New Release Friday is here and there is still no Matthew. But never fear because there is an Ian always near... not in a creepy way. Ian gets excited about a few albums, stays hydrated, and lists off this years nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You don't want to miss this one it'll be a great addition to your day. So without further ado HIT IT!
Karter...this guy man. From These Three Worlds to Sol Persona and beyond, Karter has been one of Ian and I's dear friends for years. Life brings us our separate ways of course, but this dude has some amazing stories to tell. The last of the Butler Session in The Room, this interview turned out to be such a great trip down memory lane, and a great trip into the mind of one of the most talented and creative individuals to ever come out of western PA. You don't want to miss this one. Hit it!
This a quick episode where Ian talks a little about a slow week of music and tries to keep the good word of New Release Fridays going while Matts away! Also, Ian makes a bold claim that many may be upset about. Well here goes nothing guys, HIT IT!
This Isn’t Cereal In MY Bowl! Episode 64 - Breakfast At The Comptons featuring John Compton Sr. and Judy Compton
One of my favorite memories growing up, and as an adult, was listening to Papa Conner talk about what Butler used to be like, and what it was like to live as a steel mill working in Pennsylvania. Well, it turns out Ian has very similar memories as well with his Grandpap! Tune in to my personally favorite episode, as Ian and his Grandma and Grandpa sit down and discuss life in a time much different than our own. What was rocking in the 50s, what the city was like, the nightlife, the food, the fun, and the friendships that lasted for generations. Did we also mention George Butler? In honor of their anniversary, this one is dedicated to Ian's grandparents. Hit it, Papa!
Whoa - October may have started slowly, but man is it really picking up! We've got a couple of gamechangers this week, and the 14th is packed with some great music to check out! One of these albums may even make our top 10 of the year list, so stay tuned....
